Blidworth Oaks Primary School delivers Extended Services in partnership with the Joseph Whitaker family of schools. The government’s core offer is incorporated in the vision statement for our family ‘To work in partnership within the community to provide better life chances for children and their families’.
As a school we are a focal point for the community providing numerous services that will improve the standards and aspirations of those who participate. By giving children the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities outside of the normal school hours their confidence, skills and horizons will increase. We support parents by giving information and providing opportunities to learn. Parents are invited to join their children in an assortment of family learning sessions. The school also works in partnership with specialist services to provide access for families when a need is identified.
